Rose Franck Quartet
Jazz standards from the 30s/40s arranged with a pop, ethnic and somewhat early 20th century classical music aesthetic, part of which is sung in Spanish.
Of Colombian origin, Rosa Ines Villegas grew up to the sound of salsa and bolero. After several training courses dedicated to Latin music, with musicians Franklin Lozada, Cutimba, Cuchi, Nelson Palacios and Abraham Mansfarrol, her path led her to meet musicians with whom she embarked on the jazz adventure.
She then sang with Bibi Louison, Thérèse Henri, Julie Saury, Jean Pierre Ismael, Felipe Cabrera, Lukmil Perez and Rafael Paseiro. Her career as a singer, author and composer infuses her jazz repertoire with the warmth of her origins and her tours as far as Mexico, with Spanish adaptations of American standards from the 30s to 40s.
